The International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival, held for the first time this year, continues to bring festival excitement to every corner of Eskişehir. On the fourth day of the festival, organised with ETİ as its main sponsor, Kentpark was one of the highlights of the day, hosting a vibrant programme of workshops, exhibitions and concerts. Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, who joined the activities at Kentpark, said: "Let the Porsuk flow, let Eskişehir come to life, and may our festivals continue for many years to come."
Bringing a new dimension to Eskişehir's cultural and artistic life, the International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival continued its programme at various locations across the city on its fourth day. Kentpark, one of the festival's key venues, became a meeting point for people of all ages throughout the day.
The workshops held during the day attracted great interest, particularly from children. Young participants enjoyed activities that combined creativity and fun, bringing a lively atmosphere to Kentpark. The festival programme featured not only music but also a variety of art activities, while sports also took centre stage. As part of the Porsuk Festival, the match between Türkiye's A National Women's Volleyball Team and Serbia was shown on a large screen at the Kentpark Festival Area. Sports fans gathered at the festival area to watch the match and cheer on the national team. Mayor Ünlüce also visited the workshop and gastronomy areas, accompanied by Yeni Parti Eskişehir MP Utku Çakırözer.
SISTER CITIES COME TOGETHER AT KENTPARK
One of the highlights of the festival programme at Kentpark was the International Sister Cities Photography Exhibition. Bringing together photographs from Eskişehir's sister cities around the world, the exhibition invited visitors to discover different parts of the world through photography.
Featuring photographs from Lansing in the United States, Frankfurt in Germany, Linz in Austria, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode in Belgium, Changzhou in China, Paju in South Korea, Nicosia in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Cluj-Napoca in Romania and Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation, the exhibition also highlighted Eskişehir's international sister-city ties through art.
Another artistic event at Kentpark was the "Eskişehir Yeni Çizgi" Exhibition of Eskişehir Illustrators. Bringing together the different perspectives of illustrators from Eskişehir, the exhibition offered an opportunity to look at the city from a fresh perspective through illustration, humour and creativity.
MUSIC FILLS KENTPARK
The activities held throughout the day at Kentpark became even more lively with concerts in the evening. Role was the first act to take the stage as part of the festival programme. The concert attracted considerable interest from music lovers and further heightened the festival atmosphere at Kentpark.
Kentpark Stage then welcomed Blingone K-Pop, featuring Korean and Chinese artists. Bringing the energy of K-Pop music to Kentpark, the group attracted great interest, particularly from children and young people. During the concert, children in the audience were invited onto the stage, where they danced alongside the performers. The sight of children dancing on stage and joining in with the music was one of the most colourful moments of the evening.
Selin Çıngır continued the festival excitement with her performance. As the rhythm of the music grew at Kentpark, the crowd gathered in the concert area began looking forward to the evening's finale.
AN UNFORGETTABLE FINALE WITH PİNHANİ
Pinhani, one of Türkiye's popular music groups, met with the people of Eskişehir at the Kentpark Stage.
The festival atmosphere reached its peak when Pinhani took the stage. The concert drew a large audience, with the people of Eskişehir singing along to the group's popular songs.
