The International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival, organised for the first time this year by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality as part of the "2026 Year of Eskişehir" events, continues to bring colour to the city's cultural and artistic life. On the fourth day of the festival, the Köprübaşı area in Adalar hosted a series of special events ranging from music to theatre, offering art lovers an unforgettable evening.
One of the festival's most remarkable events was the "Golden Gondol" concert, performed on a gondola by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Symphony Orchestra musicians Onur Akalın, Ferit Bakır and İdil Karakuzu. Performing on the Porsuk River against its unique backdrop, the musicians captivated music lovers with their performance, creating an enchanting atmosphere on the water. The melodies drifting across the river added a magical touch to the festival spirit.
Later in the evening, the Big Band Firebird Orchestra took the stage on the Porsuk River. The concert received great acclaim for both its music and its visual setting. Blending the lights of the Porsuk with the rhythm of the music, the performance became one of the unforgettable moments of the festival.
The theatre programme of the festival brought art lovers to the Haldun Dormen Stage at Haller Youth Centre. The play "Luminart" met with audiences, bringing the powerful atmosphere of the performing arts to the festival programme. Attracting considerable interest from theatre enthusiasts, the performance became another highlight of an evening filled with art.
With music echoing across the Porsuk River and art taking centre stage at different locations throughout the city, the International Eskişehir Porsuk Festival continues to bring the festival spirit to the people of Eskişehir with a diverse programme of colourful events.
