INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS DISCOVERED ESKİŞEHİR'S VALUES
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality continues to host university students from different countries who have come to Türkiye in cooperation with AIESEC Eskişehir. As part of the programme, which aims to strengthen cultural interaction, international students had the opportunity to learn more about Eskişehir's natural environment, approach to production, social municipal services and historical heritage.
The first stop of the programme was the Local Seed Production Centre, operating under the Parks and Gardens Department of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. The students observed on-site the work carried out to preserve and propagate local seeds and pass them on to future generations.
As the programme continued, the Metropolitan Municipality's Children's Rights Unit delivered a comprehensive presentation on children's rights, followed by an interactive workshop. Students from different countries gained first-hand insight into local government practices concerning children's rights, while also sharing their experiences and exchanging ideas during the workshop.
