COUNTDOWN BEGINS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL ESKİŞEHİR PORSUK RIVER FESTIVAL
The countdown has begun for the International Eskişehir Porsuk River Festival, which will be organised for the first time this year by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality as part of the 2026 Year of Eskişehir events. Taking place from Wednesday, 2 September to Sunday, 6 September, the five-day festival will offer the people of Eskişehir an unforgettable experience bringing together art, culture, entertainment and music.
Throughout the festival, Porsuk Boulevard in the Adalar area, one of the liveliest parts of the city, as well as Kentpark, Sümerpark and İskele26, will host a wide variety of colourful events. In addition to outdoor programmes, special events appealing to visitors of all ages will also be held at theatre venues and cultural centres.
The festival programme, full of surprises, will bring DJ performances, children's plays, folk dance performances, theatre and puppet shows, mini concerts, exhibitions, riverside talks, panel discussions and many other colourful events to the people of Eskişehir. In the evenings, some of Türkiye's popular artists will take to the stage, bringing the excitement to its peak with concerts filled with music.
The detailed festival programme will be announced to the public in the coming days.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce invited all residents of Eskişehir to share in the excitement, saying:

We have prepared a packed festival programme for people of all ages, where we can share and celebrate the beauty of our city together.
