'VISIT ESKİŞEHİR' PORTAL LAUNCHED

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce has delivered on another promise made during the election campaign. The city's new digital tourism guide, visiteskisehir.org, was officially launched on 26 May as the latest milestone in the series of special inaugurations held on the 26th of each month within the scope of the "Year of Eskişehir 2026" initiative.

''The Visit Eskişehir'' tourism portal, one of the key components of Mayor Ünlüce's tourism vision and a platform that will serve as the city's digital memory, is now available to visitors. As the latest milestone in Mayor Ünlüce's "Year of Eskişehir 2026" vision, which pledges to bring a new investment, inauguration, or groundbreaking project to the city on the 26th of every month, the digital portal was officially launched for public use on 26 May.

A DIGITAL GUIDE TO THE CITY

Speaking about the portal's technical content and its contribution to urban tourism, Sercan Kara, Head of the City History, Promotion and Tourism Department of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, emphasized that the platform serves as a comprehensive guide to the city. Kara stated: "Our portal, which we have prepared to make Eskişehir's natural beauty, cultural heritage, and vibrant urban identity more visible, will serve as a valuable guide for both visitors and residents. The platform features a total of 222 destinations and 265 pieces of content under nine main categories and fourteen subcategories. In addition, it offers 21 specially designed routes for those wishing to experience the city through different themes."

Announcing the launch of the portal, Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce underlined the municipality's commitment to delivering on its election pledges. "We are delighted to fulfil another promise we made to our valued citizens during the election period. Our goal is to introduce Eskişehir not only through its attractions but also through its stories, collective memory, culture, and unique way of life. I invite everyone who wishes to visit our beautiful city to explore the Visit Eskişehir portal before beginning their journey. From now on, the best way to discover Eskişehir starts with Visit Eskişehir."

Citizens and visitors can access the new digital tourism portal, which brings together comprehensive information on Eskişehir's attractions ranging from archaeology and gastronomy to museums and thematic parks, at visiteskisehir.org.
