The Eskişehir Metropolitan Sports Club's national athlete, Sümeyye Boyacı scored a historic victory at the Para Swimming World Series competitions held in Paris from April 27 to May 4, 2026. Delivering an outstanding performance in the Open Age Women's 50 Meter Backstroke final, the swimmer clocked 47.38 seconds, outperforming her rivals and winning the gold medal.
With discipline, determination, and perseverance leading to this significant achievement, Sümeyye Boyacı once again brought pride, representing Türkiye and Eskişehir at the highest level of the international arena.
