YOUNG PEOPLE ENGAGE AMBASSADORS ON THE EUROPEAN AGENDA
Organized in cooperation with the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Youth Center and the Eskişehir EU Information Center operating under the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, the Café Europa - Coffee & Talk meeting series continue with strong participation from young people. Supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, this series of events has become an important meeting point for students who wish to closely follow the European agenda.
On the second day of the event, Poland's Ambassador to Türkiye, Maciej Lang, met with young people from Eskişehir and shared important insights on Türkiye-EU relations. The participants had the opportunity to directly ask the Ambassador about Poland's approach to and support for Türkiye's EU accession process, Poland's experiences during its EU Council Presidency, and current developments within the European Union.
The meeting also featured an in-depth discussion on the College of Europe Natolin/Warsaw scholarship program, as well as the academic opportunities available in Europe for Turkish students.
As part of the event series, on the previous day Belgium's Ambassador to Türkiye, Hendrik Van De Velde, also met with students and held an in-depth discussion with young people on the future of the European Union and its relations with Türkiye.
On the third day of the Café Europa program, France's Ambassador to Türkiye, Isabelle Dumont, will meet with young people to share her views on Europe's current political agenda, France-Türkiye relations, and international opportunities for youth.
The event series, which has attracted great interest in Eskişehir, will continue with new meetings aimed at strengthening young people's engagement with Europe and providing them with an international perspective.
