The Café Europa - Coffee & Talk meeting series, organized jointly by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Youth Center and the Eskişehir EU Information Center under the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, drew great interest from young participants over three consecutive days. Supported by the European Union Delegation to Turkey, the event offered a valuable platform for youth eager to follow the European agenda closely and engage in discussions on international relations.
As part of the three-day event, ambassadors from European countries in Ankara met with young people from Eskişehir. During the meetings, Hendrik Van De Velde, Ambassador of Belgium to Turkey, Maciej Lang, Ambassador of Poland to Turkey, and Isabelle Dumont, Ambassador of France to Turkey, engaged in conversations with the youth and answered their questions.
On the third day of the program, the meeting attended by Ambassador Isabelle Dumont was also joined by Metin Güler, President of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce. Expressing his pleasure in meeting the youth and hearing their views, Güler stated, "We are very pleased to host such an important event together with the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. It is extremely valuable for the young people to meet with ambassadors at this event, which will greatly contribute to their vision. Events like this will continue."
French Ambassador to Turkey Isabelle Dumont, recalling her visit to Eskişehir last year, expressed her admiration for the city: "It is truly exciting for me to be here today. Seeing the energy and curiosity of the young people makes me very happy. Searching for answers to their questions together and sharing our thoughts about the future is a great pleasure. Eskişehir impresses me every time I visit."
The three-day Café Europa - Coffee & Talk series, dedicated to discussions on European and current global affairs, concluded with enthusiastic student participation and engaging conversations.
