FRENCH LITERATURE AND CINEMA IN ONE

Organized in collaboration with the Institut français Turkey and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, the "France Days" event brought the city together with the rich colors of French culture and art. The event was also attended by Isabelle Dumont, the Ambassador of France to Turkey.

As part of the program, Özdilek Cinetime hosted a book talk on "Nord Sentinelle - Sentinelle Island" and a screening of the film 'À Son Image'. Additionally, a special discussion bringing together French literature and cinema was held in Cinetime Hall 1. The event featured director Thierry de Peretti, authors Jérôme Ferrari and Laurent Gaudé, and translator Ebru Erbaş, who discussed the book "Nord Sentinelle - Sentinelle Island" and the film 'À Son Image' with the audience.

The participants had the opportunity to directly learn about their topics of interest regarding both the film and the book from the experts themselves.

By bringing French culture to Eskişehir, 'France Days' offered a memorable experience for literature and cinema lovers.
