MAYOR AYŞE ÜNLÜCE AWARDED "METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY MAYOR OF THE YEAR"

Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce was honored with the "Metropolitan Mayor of the Year" award as part of the 18th Anadolu Sports Awards, organized in collaboration with the Kırıkkale Municipality and Kırıkkalegücü Sports Club. The award was presented to Hasan Ünal, Deputy Mayor of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, on behalf of Mayor Ünlüce.

The award ceremony held at the Kırıkkale Provincial Mufti's Conference Hall was attended by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Hasan Ünal, Kırıkkale Mayor Ahmet Önal, Kırıkkalegücü Sports Club President Güven Gündüz, Turkish Wrestling Federation President Taha Akgül, and numerous other guests.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kırıkkale Mayor Ahmet Önal expressed his great pleasure in hosting the 18th edition of such a meaningful event held in the heart of Anatolia, stating that it is an honour to welcome successful athletes and sports figures from many provinces.

Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce was honored with the "Metropolitan Mayor of the Year" award in recognition of her projects in the field of sports, investments in sports facilities, and efforts to promote sports across all age groups. Deputy Mayor Hasan Ünal received the award on behalf of Mayor Ünlüce from Kırıkkale Mayor Ahmet Önal.

Hasan Ünal conveyed Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce's greetings and expressed his gratitude. At the ceremony, numerous athletes and sports figures were also awarded across various categories.

After receiving the awar in Kırıkkale, Hasan Ünal met with Mayor Ünlüce at her office to formally present it. Mayor Ünlüce stated that Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality places great importance on sports and athletes, adding, "We develop projects and continue investing in facilities to ensure that everyone, from youth to adults, has access to sports. We are deeply honored to receive this meaningful award and would like to thank Kırıkkale Municipality and Kırıkkalegücü Sports Club."
