SÜMEYYE BOYACI WINS BRONZE AT WORLD PARA SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Sümeyye Boyacı, national Paralympic Swimmer of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, achieved outstanding success at the Toyota World Para Swimming Championships 2025 in Singapore, winning the bronze medal and placing third in the world.
For the first time in its history, the World Para Swimming Championships was held in Asia this year. The event took place at Singapore's prestigious OCBC Aquatic Centre and was organized by the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC).
Sümeyye Boyacı had already made a name for herself with her achievements in previous European and World Championships. With her outstanding performance in the 50-meter backstroke, she secured the bronze medal, making both Türkiye and Eskişehir proud.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce congratulated Boyacı on her international success, stating: "I congratulate our dear Sümeyye, who represents our country and our city with great success in every tournament she participates in, and I wish her continued achievements."
