CHILDREN OF ESKİŞEHİR ENJOYED THEIR SUMMER VACATION WITH SPORTS

The "2025 Summer Children's Sports Training," organized free of charge by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality to encourage children to spend their summer vacation with sports, concluded with an enthusiastic closing ceremony held at the Osmangazi Sports Field. Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce met with the children at the ceremony, thanking them for their interest and love of sports and wishing them success in the new academic year.

The summer sports training, which included the participation of over 400 children in 11 different branches, was conducted under the guidance of expert coaches. The children, who received training in branches such as volleyball, basketball, handball, football, archery, basic movement training, gymnastics, table tennis, bocce, folk dances, and canoeing, enjoyed a summer filled with sports and had the opportunity to prepare more energetically for the new academic year.

The ceremony was attended by Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, Tezcan Al, Head of the Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department, municipal officials, families of athletes, and sports enthusiasts.

Addressing the athletes and their families, Mayor Ünlüce thanked them for their interest and love of sports and wished the children success in the new academic year. Ünlüce said, "We are very pleased with the interest and love you have shown in sports. We will continue to work to contribute to both the physical and social development of our children. I wish them all success in the new academic year."

Following the speeches, the children performed a performance. The performances, which received enthusiastic applause from the audience, concluded with the awarding of certificates of participation and performance to over 400 children.
