Organized in collaboration with Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Seyitgazi Municipality, the Taşlık Çiftlik Village Nature Summer School offers children a fun and educational summer holiday immersed in nature. Launched under the slogan "Muddy Hands, Happy Hearts," the summer school is packed with special activities that allow children to both learn and have fun.
The program, coordinated by the Metropolitan Municipality Art Vocational Training Courses (ESMEK), offers children the opportunity to experience nature up close. Activities include planting flower and vegetable seedlings, identifying and feeding farm animals, sports activities, and fruit and vegetable picking.
During this time spent in nature, children: Children learn and have fun in a variety of areas, including computer-free coding, recycling activities, bird and insect observation activities, nature photography, kite making, painting and reading, building an insect hotel, mud workshops, making baskets and collecting strawberries, and making and collecting cones.
Furthermore, through special training provided by the AKUT Search and Rescue Association, children are provided with basic information about natural disasters and risks, and are taught how to behave in a safe environment.
