Emek Cafe, established by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality to enrich the social lives of senior citizens, is attracting significant interest with its events. The recent Mind and Intelligence Games Tournament held at Emek Cafe was a joyful and exciting experience, with a large number of senior citizens participating.
The tournament, organized as part of the "Healthy Aging Workshops" program organized in collaboration with Eskişehir Vocational and Art Education Courses (ESMEK), saw fierce competition. Certificates of participation were presented to all participants at the end of the tournament.
Emek Cafe, opened under the leadership of Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, aims to provide a quality social space for senior citizens living in the city. Through the courses held at the cafe, residents can both develop their skills and enjoy time immersed in music and art.
The workshops include handicrafts such as macrame tying, calligraphy, basket weaving, oil painting, and charcoal drawing, as well as activities such as "We Get to Know Folk Songs" and mind games.
Citizens who participated in the events expressed their gratitude for the great morale and motivation provided by these social activities and thanked Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce for spearheading the project.
