The Beach Volleyball Festival, organized by the Metropolitan Municipality, Odunpazarı Municipality, and Tepebaşı Municipality, was a spectacular event. The Tepebaşı Municipality provided the main service, and the five-day festival was attended by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Director Tezcan Al; Odunpazarı Municipality Sports Affairs Director Soner Onrat; Tepebaşı Municipality Sports Affairs Director Başak Burcu Çelik; Eskişehir Volleyball Representative Erdal Turgut; national volleyball player Meryem Boz; athletes and numerous other candidates.
The festival, held in categories for ages 15-35 and over 36, showcased both competition and the unifying power of sports. The semifinal and final matches were breathtaking, and the championship battle was a thrilling one. Team Borderline defeated their opponents in the final match to become the festival champions.
The Game of Goat team won third place in the tournament, while the Prosthesis team won second place. The winning teams were presented with ceremonies. The medals for the Game of Goat were presented by Soner Onrat, Sports Affairs Director of the Odunpazarı Municipality, Sports Affairs Director for the Prosthesis team, Başak Burcu Çelik, Sports Affairs Director for the Tepebaşı Municipality, and Tezcan Al, Head of the Youth and Sports Services Department of the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, presented the trophy to the champion Borderline team. Meryem Boz, a national volleyball player from Eskişehir who played for many years on the National Women's Volleyball Team, presented the trophy to the champion Borderline team. Gülşah Sangil, Assistant Manager of the GYM Fit Club, also presented surprise prize drawings to the top three athletes.
During the festival, the Sultans of the Net's 2025 Nations League matches were also presented to sports fans at the giant center. The National Women's Volleyball Team lost 3-0 to Serbia in the final week of the league and finished the tournament with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses. The Sultans of the Net, who advanced to the quarterfinals, were drawn against Japan.
The Beach Volleyball Festival in Eskişehir, which promotes sports and brings together all segments of society, was an event where participants experienced wonderful moments and a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship was highlighted.
