TÜRSİD Chairman Dr. Özgür Soy expressed his delight at holding the first face-to-face meeting with the new board of directors in Eskişehir. He said, "Our sector's challenges and goals are shared. We have come together for this purpose. Holding the first meeting of our new term in Eskişehir is incredibly meaningful to us. I thank you for your participation, energy, and friendship. I hope we will meet again in similar meetings."
ESTRAM Chairman Hakan M. Bayındır emphasized that rail systems offer a significant solution to the increasing traffic and environmental problems that arise with the growth of cities. Bayındır said, "As the rail systems sector, we have a great responsibility. We are building not only the cities of today, but also the cities of tomorrow. Meetings like these, held under the umbrella of TÜRSID, are not only an exchange of ideas, but also the best examples of sharing experience and acting with common sense. As ESTRAM, we will continue to improve quality, produce innovative solutions, and stand in solidarity with other cities while serving our city."
The meeting also marked the signing of a significant international collaboration. With the protocol signed between Dr. Özgür Soy and Baku Metro representative Nargiz Mustafayeva, Baku Metro became an honorary member of TÜRSID.
