MAYOR ÜNLÜCE THANKED: "WE ARE COMMITTED TO BUILDING ESKİŞEHİR'S FUTURE TOGETHER"
The project application process for the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality's "Participatory Budget" program has concluded. Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce thanked all Eskişehir residents who contributed and announced that the projects selected after preliminary and technical evaluations will be put to a public vote. The vote will take place between July 28 and August 3.
The project application process for the Metropolitan Municipality's "Participatory Budget" program, launched with the slogan "Eskişehir, united with one idea," has concluded. 269 projects applied for the program, which ended on July 6, 2025. The preliminary and technical evaluation process will continue until Sunday, July 27. Projects that pass the evaluation will be put to a public vote.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, who made a statement on the matter, thanked all citizens who contributed to the project and said the following:
"I thank each and every one of you for your intense interest and valuable contributions to our participatory budget process. Every project submitted is invaluable to us.
This process is one of the most concrete examples of our approach to managing our city together. We are currently in the process of evaluating the submitted projects. We will put the projects deemed suitable to a public vote between July 28 and August 3, 2025. The final decision will be made by you, our valued citizens."
Mayor Ünlüce emphasized that as part of their participatory governance approach, they attach great importance to the public's opinions and priorities, saying, "We continue on our path with a transparent, democratic, and inclusive municipal approach. We are determined to build Eskişehir's future together with you."
