NATIONAL SWIMMER BARAN DORUK ŞİMŞEK HAS A DOUBLE SUCCESS

National Swimmer Baran Doruk Şimşek, one of the athletes of Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club's Paralympic Team, achieved great success in the Para Swimming World Series 2025 races held in Paris, the capital of France, on May 2-4, 2025.

Competing in the national uniform, the young athlete came in second in the Junior Men's 50-meter backstroke and 200-meter freestyle branches and won two silver medals. Şimşek, who successfully represented both Eskişehir and Türkiye in the international arena with these important rankings, was appreciated for his performance. Şimşek also qualified to participate in the World Championship with these rankings.
