MEANINGFUL VISIT FROM ES CHILDREN'S HOME TO SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS

Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Es Children's House students organized a meaningful event on the occasion of Disability Week. The little ones who visited the Mentally Disabled Day Center had a pleasant time and held a meeting that raised awareness.

As part of the event, students staged shows they prepared for special individuals at the center. They did not stop there, but they presented a painting they had prepared on their own as a symbol of their love and solidarity. While emotional moments were experienced at the event, disabled individuals at the center responded to the students with shows they had prepared. At the end of the day, everyone danced together and had a great time.

The purpose of this special meeting was for students to respect differences, increase their social sensitivity, and strengthen the culture of living together. Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality officials emphasized that the biggest obstacle was lovelessness, and stated that such events strengthen empathy and understanding in society.
