Finland’s Ambassador to Ankara Pirkko Mirjami Hamalainen visited Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce in her office. During the meeting, possible collaborations in the fields of innovation, education and culture were discussed.
Coming to the city for the opening of the Finnish Teachers Photography Exhibition hosted by the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Department, Finland's Ambassador to Ankara Pirkko Mirjami Hamalainen and her accompanying delegation visited Mayor Ünlüce in her office before the opening of the exhibition.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Pirkko Mirjami Hamalainen said that she loved Turkey very much and especially admired the founder of the country, Atatürk. Expressing her happiness and excitement to be in Eskişehir, Ambassador Hamalainen expressed her wish that the friendly relations between Finland and Eskişehir would continue to grow and stated that they wanted to carry out joint projects especially in the fields of innovation, education and culture.
Mayor Ünlüce also expressed her satisfaction with the visit and said that they are ready for mutual cooperation with Finland.
