“OUR RELATIONSHIPS WILL BECOME STRONGER BY DAY”

US Embassy in Ankara Chargé d'Affaires Michael Goldman visited Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce. During the visit, Goldman stated that he found Eskişehir very modern city. Mayor Ünlüce said the relations has become even stronger following the sister city agreement signed with the US city of Lansing in November.

A sister city protocol was signed between Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Lansing, the capital of the US state of Michigan, in November. To congratulate the protocol, US Ankara Embassy Charge d'Affaires Michael Goldman and his Public Relations Manager Deniz Gürsan met with Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce.

Speaking of Eskişehir with praise, Goldman wished Mayor Ünlüce success in her work and said that relations would be further strengthened with the sister city protocol.

Mayor Ünlüce also expressed her satisfaction with the visit and said, “We will undertake joint work in every field with our sister city Lansing, as we do with our other sister municipalities.”

The visit ended after a mutual exchange of ideas.
