FIRST IN ESKİŞEHİR, PINOCCHIO TOURS THE CITY

The puppet play “Pinocchio”, which started to be staged in different neighborhoods of Eskişehir with the cooperation of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters and ESMEK, met with great interest and appreciation of children.

Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality City Theaters started to bring the puppet play “Pinocchio”, which was staged within the scope of the “Caravan Puppet Theater Project”, together with children living in the center of Eskisehir in their own neighborhoods, marking a first.

With the end of the children's activities carried out continuously throughout the summer period within Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Art Vocational Training Courses (ESMEK), the puppet play, planned in cooperation with the City Theaters team, is staged in ESMEK Training Centers in different neighborhoods of Eskişehir that have limited opportunities to watch theater.

“Pinocchio”, which met with the children living in Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood in the first leg of the event, met with the intense interest of the little audience of the neighborhood. The play, which was accompanied by adult citizens with appreciation and interest, ended with applause. After the play, the children and their families thanked the Metropolitan Municipality and City Theaters and expressed their wishes for such events to be repeated.

“Pinocchio”, which will be staged in Yeşiltepe, Şirintepe and Emek neighborhoods in August, will continue to meet children in different neighborhoods and districts in September.
