ETİ LİFALİF 5TH INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON EXCITEMENT IN ESKİŞEHİR
“ETi Lifalif 5th International Eskişehir Half Marathon and Sports Festival” was a great excitement this year. Thousands of local and foreign athletes explored the streets and avenues of Eskişehir, and colorful images emerged in addition to the race for the medal. Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce gave the start of the half marathon.
“ETi Lifalif 5th International Eskişehir Half Marathon and Sports Festival”, organized in cooperation with Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, Turkish Athletics Federation and İkiyirmiüçEvent Organization, was completed with a half marathon run.
The 21K and 10K races of the ETi Lifalif 5th International Eskişehir Half Marathon, which took place on August 24 and 25 with the participation of approximately 3 thousand amateur and professional athletes from all over Türkiye, started from Sazova Science, Culture and Art Park. Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce and protocol members started the race.
Citizens supported the athletes with applause during the races that revealed the beauties of the streets and avenues of the city, especially the historical Odunpazarı district in Eskişehir city center. Sports fans immortalized this moment with their phones and cameras.
The race came to a finish in Sazova Science Culture and Art Park. The athletes who ranked first in the 21K and 10K races were awarded medals and cash prizes as well as various other prizes.
Celebrating the athletes for their performance at the award ceremony, Mayor Ünlüce said, “I am very happy to host such a beautiful event. We are honored to have our citizens who are dedicated to sports in Eskişehir. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.”
After the speeches, the athletes who ranked in the 21K and 10K races were awarded by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce and protocol members. In addition, those who ranked between 35 and 75+ years old according to age categories also received their awards.
