MAYOR ÜNLÜCE ATTENDED CEMR LEADERS SUMMIT IN GERMANY

CEMR Political Committee Member and Mayor of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Ayşe Ünlüce attended the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) Leaders’ Summit in Karlsruhe, Germany.

The meeting was attended by Eskişehir Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce, Beylikova Mayor Hakan Karabacak, Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Council Member Çağrı Özeçoğlu, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Mayor Ayşe Serra Bucak Küçük, Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş, Karabük Mayor Özkan Çetinkaya, Terme Mayor Şenol Kul, Orhangazi Mayor Bekir Aydın, Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere and Union of Municipalities of Türkiye Secretary General Suat Yıldız.

At the CEMR Leaders’ Summit, sessions were held on topics such as new developments in public transportation, financing methods, data and planning, problems and solutions.

As part of the Summit, Mayor Ayşe Ünlüce and Secretary General of Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (UMT) Suat Yıldız met with Mathieu Mori, Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The delegation discussed the road map mission carried out by the congress to monitor developments in local governments in Türkiye and the concrete cooperation that can be made with the council.
