ESKİŞEHİR LEFT ITS MARK ON UNDERWATER TÜRKİYE CHAMPIONSHIP
Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athletes, Türkiye Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) 2024 Golden Pallet Underwater Imaging Championships in Türkiye, returned with gold medals.
Türkiye Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) 2024 Golden Palette Underwater Imaging Türkiye Championship was held in Kaş district of Antalya. In the Turkish Championship, the athletes who best visualized the underwater world in 11 different categories in the photography and video categories received their championship awards and medals.
Underwater photographers captured the beauties in the depths of the Mediterranean Sea. The athletes dived with their diving partners to get medal-winning images in the photo and video categories.
Underwater photographers captured marine fauna, flora, amphorae and shipwrecks.
Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athlete Erkan Balk won the gold medal in the video film category, the gold medal in the 60 seconds video category and the Turkish Champion in the video individual category.
2024 Golden Palette Underwater Imaging Türkiye Championship, Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club athlete Hakan Başar became the champion of Türkiye in the photography category, the champion of Türkiye in the theme category, the 2nd place in the modeled wide angle 2nd place in the creativity category, and the 2nd place in Türkiye in the individual ranking.
While Eskişehir Metropolitan Youth and Sports Club ranked 3rd in Türkiye in the overall total of the competitions, the club athletes and diving spouses Efe Akçakayalıoğlu and İrfan Çalo also showed a magnificent performance.
After the evaluation of the visuals by the selection committee, the ranking athletes were awarded their medals at the award ceremony held in Kaş Square.
